Can I register my child in a Riverside school that is not my in-zone school?

It is possible to register your child in a school that is not their in-zone school.  However, the school can refuse your request.  If you have registered your child in the Official Enrolment Period, the school has until July 1st to provide an answer as to whether or not a place is available for your child as an out-of-zone student.  For registrations conducted after June 30th, these will be considered on an ongoing basis. Note that no transportation is provided to out-of-zone students.  Confirmation of an out-of-zone registration is valid for one school year at a time.
