Masks in Schools & Centres – Update

Starting Monday, May 16th, in our schools and centres, it will no longer be mandatory to wear a mask for both students (including those in general adult education and vocational training) and staff in class, during indoor physical education, in common areas, during extracurricular activities, and in school transportation.

However, the choice to wear the mask will remain at the discretion of each person (student and staff). Wearing a mask will still be allowed in schools and centres for those who wish to continue to use this means of protection.

Thank you for remaining respectful of everyone’s choice.

Please note that masks are still mandatory in public transportation (RTL). Therefore, we will continue to distribute masks to people who wish to wear them, including students who must take public transportation to school.

In addition, cleaning and disinfection measures in school premises by maintenance workers, particularly with regard to frequently touched surfaces, will be maintained until the end of the current school year.
