For any students currently registered in a Riverside school (2023-2024), including grade 6 students moving to high school for 2024-2025, parents will be prompted to follow a registration or re-registration process through Mozaïk Portail Parents, also as of February 5. It should be noted that the re-registration period for students currently enrolled in a Riverside school ends on February 12th.

FOR GRADE 6 RIVERSIDE PARENTS

You must formally confirm your plans for the 2024-2025 school year for your child currently in Grade 6 at Riverside School Board.

This is done online, through Mozaik Portail Parents.  An initial email is sent from the high school currently attributed to your child to notify you that you may now proceed with registration for the following year.

Whether you are sending your child to the high school currently attributed to them OR making a request for a different high school within Riverside School Board, OR planning to remove your child from Riverside School Board for their secondary studies, you must complete the form on Mozaïk Portail Parents.  It is available under the ‘Registration’ tile as of February 5, 2024.  Again, this process occurs entirely online (no paper documents will be provided to your child).

Please note that the deadline for completing the process on Mozaïk Portail Parents is February 12, 2024.

For any parent identifying that they wish to send their child to a Riverside high school that is not their currently attributed high school, you will be asked to specify the desired alternate school.  In this case, confirmation of registration to the desired high school will not be immediate.  If your request is accepted, confirmation will be provided by the high school at a later date.

Also note that the course selection that will be proposed to you at first will be that of the high school currently attributed to your child, which is not necessarily your desired school.  This first-course selection must be completed even if you are waiting for an answer about a different placement request.

For any further information about a particular high school, please consult the school’s website or contact the school directly.
