St. Johns Emergency School Closure
St. Johns School will remain closed on Thursday, November 30, and Friday, December 1, 2023.
The city of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu has declared a local state of emergency following the closure of the water valves to allow the repair of the main pipe which broke on Saint-Jacques Street on November 27.
Following meetings with representatives of the city of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu and considering the urgency of the exceptional situation, the entire school will remain closed for Thursday and Friday. Please note that no daycare service will be available for both days.
If by chance, significant improvement is made and school can resume, you will be advised as soon as possible.
Please look at your emails regularly, the situation may change rapidly, and the information will be communicated through emails and social media platforms.
We understand the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we prioritize the safety and well-being of our students. We will keep you updated on any developments, and we thank you for your patience and cooperation during these uncertain times.
