Education Services suspended

Given the epidemiological situation that is quickly
escalating, the Government of Québec has decided to suspend all Educational
Services as of today. We are, therefore, confirming that Riverside School Board
Pedagogical Services will be closed to all students (Kindergarten, Elementary,
Secondary and Adult Education) at the end of the day, today. REACH School,
however, will remain open as usual.

Please note, however, that our elementary schools will be
open for exceptional situations only. Given the situation, we are
urging parents who can keep their child(ren) at home to do so. Our elementary schools
will accommodate parents who are emergency health workers and parents who are not
able to make arrangements under such short
notice, but no educational services will be offered.

• No Educational Services will be provided until
  January 10, 2022 (including ACCESS).
• No distance education will be offered this week.
• Daycare will be available for emergency
  situations only.
• Schools will be open for Elementary students who
  have no other options.
• No transportation services will be provided.
• No exams will take place for Secondary and Adult
  and Vocational students.
