Conditional Pedagogical Days Cancelled
Due to the school closures on March 11 and 12, the conditional pedagogical days scheduled for April 7 and April 24 have been cancelled.
As a result, April 7 and April 24, 2026, will be regular school days for both elementary and secondary students.
Exception*:
On April 24, HRHS and Royal Charles School (RCS) will hold their school-based-pedagogical day.
Daycare services at RCS will be open for registered students.
2026-2027 School Calendar
William Latter School Expansion Project Moves Forward
Riverside School Board announces that the Ministry of Education has authorized the William Latter School expansion project, which will provide students with a modern, safe, and suitable learning environment.
This project aims to expand William Latter School in Chambly and includes additional classrooms, including one for 4-year-old kindergarten, bringing the total number of classrooms to 24. This will allow for the transfer of students and the addition of new ones.
The project is made possible thanks to funding from the Ministry of Education under the Québec Infrastructure Plan.

- March 24: Council of Commissioners Meeting @7:30pm
- April 3 & 6: Closed. Holiday. Schools and all centres are closed.
- April 7: Regular school day for elementary and high schools
- April 21: Council of Commissioners Meeting @7:30pm
- April 24: Regular school day* for elementary and high schools
Registration
The registration period continues until March 31. However, even after the official registration period ends, it is still possible to register your child at Riverside School Board at any time throughout the year.
