Today is December6th, the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.

Everyone has the right to live free from violence, regardless of their gender, gender expression, gender identity, or perceived gender.

Today, we remember the 14 women who were victims of the Polytechnique shooting in Montreal, and the women who are still too often the targets of gender-based violence.
