• Parents must park on the street
  • Parking in the school yard, in the staff parking lot, in the school driveways, in the crosswalk, and in Emballage St-Jean’s parking lot is not permitted. 
  • Do not park where prohibited and please do not block our neighbors’ driveways. 
  • Door 9 is used for Daycare drop-offs and pick-ups during the following times:

7:00 to 7:35 a.m.

2:45 to 6:00 p.m.


  • Parents must park on the street
  • Doors open at 7:45 a.m. There is no supervision before that time.
  • Elementary classes start at 7:55 a.m. 
  • High school classes start at 8:05 a.m. 
  • Students must be on time for class. This will minimize the number of interruptions and will promote an optimal learning environment for all. 
  • Students who arrive after the start of classes are marked LATE and must enter by Door 1 to sign in.

  • Parents must park on the street.
  • If you are picking up your child for an appointment, please come before or after lunch.  Students are in many locations during their lunch break so it is very difficult to find them.  
  • Please avoid coming during the following hours:

Kindergarten between 10:25 and 11:10 a.m.

Grades 1 to 6 between 11:15 a.m. and 12:10 p.m.

High school: between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m.


  • If someone other than the parent (grandparent, aunt/uncle, friend, etc.) comes to pick up a student, we will not allow them to leave without a signed note from the parent
  • The note must be in the agenda. 
  • This is for our students’ safety.

Do not use the staff parking lot for dropping-off/picking-up students, parking/waiting in the vehicle, doing U-turns or cutting through. This area was not designed to accommodate this and using it puts your children and our staff at risk. 


1. Do not park:

    • on the crosswalks
    • where prohibited
    • in Emballage St-Jean’s parking lot (neighboring company)

    2. Ensure that your child uses the passenger side doors when entering or exiting your vehicle.  This will avoid putting them in danger from other vehicles circulating on rue Saint-Michel.

    3. Use the drop-off areas in front of the school.

    4. Should you drop off your child across the street from the school, make sure they use the crosswalkUnder no circumstances should students pass between parked vehicles.

    5. Do not use the staff parking lot or the driveways.  Using it puts your child at risk.

    6. Do not park in the disabled parking space unless you have a disabled parking permit.

    7. As a member of the St. Johns community, please remember to be courteous and respectful with our neighbours, our crossing guard, and our staff members.
