It is possible to register your child in a school that is not their in-zone school.  However, the school can refuse your request.  If you have registered your child in the Official Enrolment Period, the school has until July 1st to provide an answer as to whether or not a place is available for your child as an out-of-zone student.  For registrations conducted after June 30th, these will be considered on an ongoing basis.

Please note that no transportation is provided to out-of-zone students.  Confirmation of an out-of-zone registration is valid for one school year at a time.

Please first verify in your junk mail.  If there is nothing there, please write to registration@rsb.qc.ca with the registration appointment date that you had selected so that we may verify that the booking was successfully completed.

For any given school year, no placement will be confirmed prior to the end of the Official Enrolment Period, which is on March 30th (or the last preceding working day). Confirmation can take several weeks after that date. For registrations conducted after March 30th (or the last preceding working day), these will be considered on an ongoing basis. For information regarding the enrolment of students at Riverside School Board, please consult the Policy on the Enrolment Criteria for Registration.
