To book an appointment to register (or to verify if your child is eligible for English instruction), you must click on the category below that best describes your eligibility situation and answer the questions.
A certificate of eligibility is required for all children attending an English school in Québec. The government has specific criteria that must be met according to the Charter of the French Language.
Please Note
Documents provided for the purpose of obtaining eligibility will be submitted by our office to the Ministry’s Department of Eligibility (Bureau de l’admissibilité à l’enseignement en anglais).
Important!
NOTE: Once you have registered your child, it is important to complete a form to pay your school taxes to Riverside School Board. The form can be found by clicking here.
To obtain information concerning school taxes, please consult the Taxation section of this website (in the “Parents and Students” menu, under “Parents”, you can select Taxation ). Any remaining questions concerning school taxes may then be addressed to the Taxation Department: taxation@rsb.qc.ca
