On Thursday morning, October 23, Harold Sheppard School was delighted to welcome representatives of the Audacie Foundation: Christine Lachapelle, Marco Parenteau, and Kelly Dugas, brought boxes and boxes of generous donations for our students. Also present was the chair of the school board, Christopher Craig; the Director General, Chantale Scroggins; and the Assistant Director General of RSB Colleen Lauzier.  We are truly appreciative of Audacie’s kindness and support!

Principal Valerie Caya and the HSS team organized a tour of the school for our guests, during which students welcomed them with thank you cards and a beautiful song. Our guests were also treated to tea and coffee prepared by three student representatives of the HSS cooking classes. It was a truly lovely visit, and our school community could not be more grateful.

The mission of the Audacie Foundation is to support school perseverance in the communities where the group is present. By promoting student success, the foundation aims to create a more just and inclusive world, where every student has a place and a role to play, regardless of their socio-economic background.

Harold Sheppard School was chosen to promote student success and resilience, especially following the unfortunate fire in June. Thanks to Foundation Audacie’s generosity, the school received over $4,000 worth of school supplies to help our students. We are deeply thankful for their support and for believing in the bright future of our students.
