Centennial Regional High School’s Secondary V Art students have created an Art Installation in honor of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women. The artwork was inspired byCanadian Artist Jaime Black who created the REDress Project in order to raise awareness about this ongoing crisis. Each dress tells the story of an Indigenous woman who was a victim of violence. To educate, students are now sharing their work.

These students have worked exceptionally hard on this project and have learned so much on the matter and ultimately, hope to inspireother schools to get involved.

Bravo to the students and to Veronique St-Cyr, Senior Art Teacher & Department Coordinator for this fantastic project. Well done!
