Sujata Saha’s Contribution to the Enhanced MYP

Sujata Saha had the privilege of being one of two Canadians to have been invited to the International Baccalaureate head office in The Hague last month. There, she experienced an inspiring week, collaborating and brainstorming with a diverse group of International Baccalaureate Educators from around the world.

Rich discussions were had by all educators present at this exchange of ideas event in The Hague, centered on their respective school realities as well as commonalities their young learners of today, share. Their time together focused on shaping several aspects of the Enhanced MYP, including how to make assessment more meaningful as well as the community engagement project.

It is expected that the Enhanced MYP will be launched in 2027. Together, this team of IB educators from all over contributed to future ideas that would support the mission at the heart of the IB: education for a better world.

About Sujata: She has been involved with the International Baccalaureate Organization since 1992. Her IB roles include that of a mathematics teacher, a middle year’s programme coordinator, a head of school, a workshop leader, an online facilitator and site visitor.
