As announced by the government, the deadline for the publication of term 1 report cards has been postponed to February 11, 2022.  As a result, term 1 for all Riverside schools has been extended until January 28, 2022.  This is indicated in the revised youth sector calendar adopted by the Council of Commissioners on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. Please note that CEGEP admissions will not be impacted by this.

October 15, 2021 – Information for parents regarding the evaluation of learning for 2021-2022 from the Ministry of Education.

To take into account the specific context of the 2021-2022 school year, adjustments have been made to the report cards and ministerial examinations at the elementary and secondary levels.

School Year 2021-2022

The 2021-2022 school year will be comprised of two terms, with the following weighting: 40% for term 1 (September 2021 to January 2022) and 60% for term 2 (February 2022 to June 2022).

Mandatory ministerial examinations (grade 6 and secondary 2)  will be reintroduced, with an adjusted weighting of 10% instead of 20%.

All uniform examinations in secondary 4 and 5 will also be reintroduced, and their weighting adjusted to 20% instead of 50%.
