August 24, 2021 – Dear Parents,
We remind you that, in order to receive educational services at a distance, your child is required to have a medical note exempting them from physically reporting to school. Please note that without such a note, your child is expected at school as of September 1st.
Also, note that it is important that we have a clear indication of the number of students with a medical exemption in order to establish the means through which distance education will be delivered to best serve the needs. We thank you for your assistance in ensuring that medical notes are provided to us as soon as possible, in the coming days, at the following address email@example.com .
According to the latest Ministry directives, all students are expected back at school for the 2021-2022 school year unless they have a medical note stating that they are exempt from physically reporting to school. Medical notes issued for the 2020-2021 school year are no longer valid. Medical professionals will have been informed by the government of the conditions that would make a student eligible for such an exemption in 2021-2022, in relation to COVID-19.
While there will be no Riverside Virtual Hub for the 2021-2022 school year, measures will be put into place to provide sustained education to students with a medical exemption. Should your child be in this situation, please communicate with us as soon as possible at the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please indicate to us the school that your child would normally attend, as well as the grade level. You must attach the current medical note, which must make direct reference to your child and explicitly state that they cannot physically report to school.
