St. Mary's School

St. Mary's STEAM MUSEUM event was a huge success! Wow! It was an incredible experience to see the school transformed with displays of students' work everywhere we looked: walls, doors, ceiling, on tables, on floors, on shelves ... so much talent at St. Mary's! Congratulations to the organizers and artists who worked all year to make the museum a successful school event! What a thrill! Parents, friends, school administrators, teachers, professionals were in awe of the students' amazing work! Bravo!

William Latter School

On May 15, 2019, some of the William Latter Daycare students went to Ottawa to view the “Quilted Map of Canada” that they made during the 2016/17 school year in celebration of Canada’s 150th. With the support of MP Michel Picard and his staff who believed that the students’ work should merit a viewing at our nation’s capital made it happen. Furthermore, MP Picard was able to arrange for the students to attend “Question Period” so that they could see our government in action among other enjoyable activities such as a walking tour with a brief history of parliament. We wish to express our sincere gratitude to MP Picard and staff for the awesome experience.
